Most Ottocast products are designed for vehicles (typically 2016 or newer) with Factory Wired Apple CarPlay and/or Factory Wired Android Auto. This product is a wired-to-wireless adapter and must be plugged into a USB data port (not a charge-only port).

Yes. Pair once, then it reconnects when the car starts.
First, make sure both phones have previously connected to your CA580, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on the phone you want to use. Press the button once and wait 20–30 seconds for it to connect. There’s no need to hold the button or turn off Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on your current phone. Only one phone can be connected at a time.
If switching doesn’t work, unplug the adapter, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in.
Compatible touchscreen, steering-wheel and dial controls continue to work through CarPlay or Android Auto.*
