Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since the delivery day, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange under the return policy. Please make sure to contact us by email at support@ottocast.com on time.

*Price adjustment: For orders placed without discount codes, we can only refund the price difference within 24 hours of purchase due to promotional changes.

*Order cancellation handling: Orders can be canceled within 24 hours after purchase as long as the parcel has not been shipped. If you request to cancel your order more than 12 hours after payment and before shipment, a $15 shipment handling fee will be charged to cover warehouse manual handling. Orders cannot be canceled once the parcel is shipped out.

Please review the product information, including compatibility requirements, vehicle requirements, supported phone systems, and the estimated shipping timeline before placing your order. Return eligibility and fees depend on the reason for the return.

1) Seller / product-related reasons: If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error, please contact us immediately. Once confirmed, we will arrange a replacement, refund, or another reasonable solution. For approved claims within 30 days of delivery caused by a confirmed product defect or our error, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping costs. Expedited shipping, premium courier services, or return shipping costs not approved by us in advance are not reimbursed.

2) Customer-related reasons: If you initiate a return for reasons unrelated to the seller or product defects, such as change of mind, ordering the wrong model, providing an incorrect address, purchasing an incompatible product, or compatibility issues not caused by a product defect, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and applicable fees described below.

 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To help us process your request faster, please provide your order number, proof of purchase, photos or videos showing the issue, and a clear description of the problem.

 

1-Year Limited Warranty

Ottocast products include a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

What is covered: During the warranty period, if your product has a confirmed manufacturing defect or hardware malfunction that is not caused by misuse, accident, improper installation, unauthorized modification, liquid damage, abnormal power supply, normal wear and tear, or compatibility issues unrelated to a product defect, we will provide troubleshooting support and, when applicable, repair, replacement, or another reasonable solution based on the condition of the product.

What is not covered: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, drops, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modification, exposure to water or extreme conditions, use with unsupported vehicles or devices, normal wear and tear, lost accessories, cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality, or issues caused by third-party apps, vehicle system updates, mobile phone system updates, cables, adapters, or external devices.

How to request warranty service: Please contact us at support@ottocast.com with your order number, proof of purchase, a clear description of the issue, and photos or videos showing the problem. We may ask you to complete troubleshooting steps before approving warranty service.

 

Return Process

  • To start a return, please contact us at support@ottocast.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • For customer-related returns, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, please contact us first so we can evaluate the issue and provide the appropriate return, replacement, or warranty solution.
  • Fees for customer-related returns: Returns initiated for reasons unrelated to the seller or product defects will incur a 20% processing fee based on the order amount, which will be deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to a confirmed product defect or an error on our part. For approved seller / product-related returns within 30 days of delivery, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable for customer-related returns.
  • Refund or exchange: When we receive your return or exchange, we will inspect the item within 3-5 working days and then provide a replacement for an exchange or issue a refund if approved.

Refund or Exchange

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 3 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Note: We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at support@ottocast.com.

1. We recommend using a trackable standard shipping service. DHL may be used for faster and more reliable international delivery if preferred.
2. The description of the goods is expected to be "Video Interface".
3. Please declare the value accurately based on your order invoice and local carrier/customs requirements.
4. Please do not add unrelated brand names or misleading markings on the outer package.
